TJ Ball is a Junior studying Government at Cornell University. He currently serves as one of the General Managers of Cornell University Sustainable Design (CUSD). CUSD is a student-led organization in Systems Engineering which consists of 9 project teams, each focused on using systems concepts and design thinking to empower people to make their communities more sustainable. As General Manager, he ensures CUSD’s teams are meeting their deadlines and have the resources they need to complete their deliverables. 

Additionally TJ identifies new stakeholders and plans upcoming projects, organizes sustainability and design events on campus, and works to communicate the work and vision of CUSD to students, clubs, and companies.

 

Since getting to Cornell, TJ has been involved with Student Assembly, Cornell International Business Association, Cornell International Affairs Society, and Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity. He’s originally from Southern Maryland. He hopes to do international development work with a particular focus on sustainable tech innovation.
